The UConn Nursing and Engineering Innovation Center, a collaboration between the School of Nursing and the College of Engineering, invites undergraduate students to apply for its NursEng Innovation Fellowship Program. This interdisciplinary program is designed to equip Fellows with practical skills in:
- Problem-solving
- Design thinking
- Prototyping
- Teamwork and team-building
- Communication and presentation
No prior experience in healthcare innovation or product design is required. Fellows will work in teams. Those teams have the opportunity to apply for up to $1,750 in prototype funding to support innovation development and will receive dedicated mentorship to foster both personal and professional growth. Upon successful completion of the program, Fellows will be awarded a certificate from the Nursing and Engineering Innovation Center.
