Leading up to Sexual Assault Awareness Month this April, the Violence Against Women Prevention Program (VAWPP) will be running a clothing drive from Friday, February 16th-Friday, March 2nd. VAWPP will be collecting new/gently used sweatpants & sweatshirts, new warm socks, and snacks, all of which will be donated to the Sexual Assault Crisis Center of Eastern Connecticut. These donations are intended to provide victim-survivors with clothing after a sexual assault forensic exam because many times clothing is taken as a part of evidence collection kits. Your contributions are greatly appreciated.
Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:
Husky Village (Pi Phi House)
North Campus (Multipurpose Room)
Oaks (Building 5, Main Office)
Women's Center (Front Desk)
