Are you interested in gaining first hand business experience this summer? Are you looking for an internship where you will have the opportunity to learn more about entrepreneurship and work with real startups and small businesses?
The Connecticut Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CCEI) is currently accepting applications for the next cohort of the Verge Consulting Group! Verge Consultants are graduate students (or highly advanced undergraduates) who work with CCEI and the Connecticut Small Business Development Center (CTSBDC) to help UConn startups overcome the hurdles of entrepreneurship. These student have the opportunity to work directly with businesses on projects involving business planning, financial modeling, market sizing, business model creation, and much more! Verge Consultants will be guided by and receive mentorship from SBDC business advisors throughout the summer.
Consultants receive a stipend of $5,000 for the 10 week internship, which takes place between May and August. Applications for the 2018 cohort are currently open and will close March 1, 2018.
