Student Organization Events & Information

  • 3/27 Interested in Fundraising on a Bigger Scale?

The Korean Student Association (KSA) at UConn is holding its 2nd annual Street Food Festival on March 27th. The Street Food Festival is a new tradition that KSA created last year as an event where different cultures can celebrate and enjoy a universal topic that everyone loves: food! Last year, we had things like scallion pancakes, cups of pho, hamburger sliders, and more!

We are currently looking for cultural student organizations on campus that would like to participate in this year's Street Food Festival. The event will be held on Tuesday, March 27th from 11am to 3pm in the Student Union Ballroom.

If you have any questions, please email KSA's event coordinator, Tien Nguyen at tien.nguyen@uconn.edu.

    Things to keep in mind:
    • Max price for each item would be $4
    • If electricity is needed, outlets are limited
    • Whether food has to be kept hot or cold
      • Ex: hot soup, ice cream, etc.

If interested in participating, please email Tien Nguyen at tien.nguyen@uconn.edu with the following information ASAP:

    • The name of your organization
    • The food you plan on making
      • An ingredient list organized in a bullet format (like this)
