  • Bring Running Water to the Erasmus Creche

    Did you know...

-663 million people - 1 in 10 - lack access to safe water.

-More people have a mobile phone than a toilet.

-By 2035, the world’s energy consumption will increase by 35 percent, which in turn will increase water use by 15 percent according to the International Energy Agency.

-Girls and women walk an average of 3 miles a day to retrieve water

BRAVE Girls Leadership is hosting a Walk for Water event to raise $2,000 for the Erasmus Creche Tribal community in South Africa.  This money will provide a rain catchment tank, taps for easy access to the water, a pipe connecting the tank to a kitchen to supply a local lunch program, as well as hygiene education at Erasmus Crèche. You can help contribute by walking laps, donating, and spreading awareness about the global water crisis!
