MARK YOUR CALENDAR for Sunday, Dec 3 at 12 noon when the CT Fulbright Association will have a social gathering, speaker, good food and a chance to meet your fellow Fulbrighters (international and US alumni) at Yale's OISS <link>. It's free, so please bring your family!
Again this year, we offer a slice of American culture: Walter Matis of the Fairfield Museum and Historical Society will give a unique presentation on Connecticut's participation in the American Revolution – in period costume!
WHAT: An afternoon of informal Fun, Food and Socializing, Fulbright-style!
WHEN: Sunday Dec 3, 2017 from 12:00 - 3:00 pm (but please come join us at ANY time)
Agenda: 12:00 noon Buffet lunch starts
1:30 pm presentation (approx.)
3:00 pm wrap-up
WHERE: Yale OISS (Office of International Students and Scholars) at 421 Temple Street in New Haven <link>.
WHO: Visiting international Fulbrighters, Alumni, and your families.
COST: FREE!
Optional: If you would like to bring some food representing your country / culture’s cuisine, please feel free to do so (but this is not required). If so, please tell us in advance so we can plan.
TRANSPORTATION: If you need a ride from outside New Haven, please tell us from where and how many people. We will try to accommodate all Fulbrighters who need rides. If you can drive fellow Fulbrighters to / from Yale OISS (or know a fellow international student who has a car), please let us know.
