  • Reduce Food Waste this Holiday Season

    Greetings students, faculty, and staff!

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and with that comes a plentiful amount of food!  But with so much food, there’s also an opportunity for wastefulness. Did you know that 40% of all food in the U.S. is wasted?

How to Prevent Food Waste this Holiday Season:

    1. Shop with a plan! This will not only save you time, but also money.

    2. Properly package your leftovers to eat for the next few days.

    3. Be generous and share! Any leftover canned goods can be donated to local food shelters, and make sure to give your friends and family some helpings to take home after the big feast!
