All are welcome to attend the screening of the film Awake: A Dream from Standing Rock this Tuesday, November 7th. The screening will take place in the Torrey Life Sciences building, room 79 and will begin at 6pm. This film is a documentary which follows the struggle of the Standing Rock Sioux tribe in North Dakota as they fight for environmental justice for their land.
This film is a part of the Metanoia events and is co-sponsored by the Together project.
If you attend three events for Native American Heritage Month and complete a punch card, you can claim a prize at the NACP office!
