  • 11/2 Motets and More: UConn Choirs perform in Stamford

    Join us for a FREE performance by the UConn Chamber Singers & Collegium Musicum.

    For this performance, UConn’s most select choral ensembles, the Collegium Musicum and Chamber Singers will present music from their upcoming European tour of Austria and Italy where they will perform in some of the world’s most important cathedrals including: St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice, Salzburg Cathedral, and more. “Motets and More” includes powerful early music from Palestrina and Victoria to more modern works by Poulenc, Ola Gjeilo, and Stacey Gibbs. Don’t miss this free concert in the magnificent “Fish Church” in Stamford, CT.

    This performance is part of the Ensemble in Residence Program, established by UConn's School of Fine Arts and Department of Music with an Academic Plan Grant from the Office of the Provost.
