Award-winning poet and Aetna Writer-in-Residence, Tara Betts, will spend two days at UConn this fall (November 1st and 2nd), participating in a writing workshop with six student writers. Betts is the author of Break the Habit (2016) and Arc & Hue (2009), and she is also one of the co-editors of The Beiging of America: Personal Narratives About Being Mixed Race in the 21st Century (2017). The event will take place in the Barnes and Noble College Bookstore in Storrs Center, at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, November 1st.
