Volunteer Opportunities

  • Human Rights & Human Trafficking Spring Alt Break

Are you a strong advocate for social change? Do you want to be? If yes, then this alternative spring break trip is for you! During the trip, participants will spend a week in Atlanta, Georgia learning about the issues of human trafficking and human rights. It is likely that we will not be in direct contact with clients as short-term volunteers are not a strong solution for assisting the needs of people affected by human trafficking. However, participants will complete indirect service and advocacy by supporting organizations focused on this issue.

We will also be taking a look at this issue through a human rights lens by investigating the systematic causes of human trafficking and what can be done on more than just a one-time, local level.
