    Resolution Regarding Furlough Days for Classified Bargaining Units

    The following guidance is based on post SEBAC Agreement discussions regarding furlough obligations for employees departing State Service.  A pro-rated furlough schedule will be applied to employees who retire or otherwise separate from State Services in the periods described below:

    Employees who Separate on or before November 1, 2017

    Employees are obligated to pay for and serve one (1) furlough day through payroll deduction prior to separation, the balance of which shall come from their last check

    Employees who Separate on or before April 1, 2018

    Employees are obligated to pay for and serve two (2) furlough days through payroll deduction prior to separation, the balance of which shall come from their last check

    Employees who Separate after April 1, 2018

    Employees are obligated to pay for and serve three (3) furlough days through payroll deduction prior to separation, the balance of which shall come from their last check
