What’s up UConn?!
You may or may not know, but this coming November, UConn will be hosting NEACURH’s Fall Regional Leadership Conference!
What is a regional leadership conference (RLC) you ask? Great, I’ll tell you!
RLC is a great way for leaders from around the Northeast region to meet each other and exchange valuable knowledge about how we can all maintain and improve student life on campus. By participating in this conference delegates build on their leadership skills while creating memories to last a lifetime through fun programs and workshops!
But wait, what’s NEACURH?!
For those of you who may not know yet, the North East Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls or, NEACURH is one of the eight regional affiliates of NACURH, Inc, the LARGEST student run organization IN THE WORLD!! NEACURH and NACURH are organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life for all students living in residence halls. UConn’s Residential Life Programs like Residence Hall Association (RHA) and National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) fall under NEACURH.
While our lovely conference staff has been working hard to ensure that this year’s RLC runs without a hitch, we’ll need some helping hands to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. With that being said, we’re reaching out to you all with the opportunity to volunteer for this fun filled weekend! The conference will take place on the UConn campus from November 17-19th. We are looking for positive individuals who can contribute some of their time, energy and of course cheer during these three days.
