During this week long alternative spring break, participants will work side by side with the Friends of Milam Creek to learn about the root causes of rural poverty as well as today’s most pressing environmental issues. Participants will travel to Mullens, West Virginia and partake in meaningful service followed by in-depth reflections to enhance their knowledge of the both the community and the issues at hand.
