Research

  • Get research experience as our lab assistant

The Experimental Anthropology Lab has an opportunity for UConn students to engage in one of its current studies.

The main task requires editing videos and coding research material, among other possibilities, at Storrs campus.
Previous experience in editing videos in iMovies, including for personal reasons, is required. The student applying for this research assistant position must be comfortable in using the program.
The student will be trained in the lab to develop the coding task, so experience in coding is appreciated but not required in order to apply.

This opportunity is ideal for students that want to get involved in research and become familiar with a research lab. It is also a good idea for anyone that wishes to enrich their curriculum with one more experience.

The students will be involved until the end of the Fall. Credits will be granted and the time of dedication is based on that.
There is some flexibility for the choice of the times the student wants to be in the lab.

    How to apply
Any interested student can apply by emailing our graduate researcher Gabriela (gabriela.pinto@uconn.edu) listing his/her previous experience in editing videos and and her/his weekly availability to engage in this study.
