The University of Connecticut (UConn) is looking for applications for the Bridge to the Doctorate program from LSAMP graduates who would like to pursue a MS/PhD in STEM majors. This program is sponsored by National Science foundation Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP).
What does the fellowship includes?
The Bridge to the Doctorate fellowship is for the first 2 years with guaranteed support after the second year.
The 2 year fellowship includes:
Student stipends, up to $32,000 annually
Tuition and fee supplement, up to $12,000 annually
Health insurance
Faculty mentoring and advising
Opportunities to research and internship at companies and national research labs
Opportunities to participate in national and professional conferences
Academic support
Professional development workshops
Mentoring network and Career development
