  • Interim University Registrar

Sent on behalf of Wayne Locust, Vice President for Enrollment Planning and Management:

It is with mixed emotions that I announce Lauren DiGrazia, University Registrar, will be leaving the University of Connecticut to become the new Assistant Vice Provost and Registrar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Lauren joined the University of Connecticut in 2001 as a staff member and became University Registrar in 2012. During her time as University Registrar, Lauren has proven to be an invaluable member of the UConn community. We are truly indebted to Lauren for her leadership and unwavering dedication to student registration services.

Lauren’s last day will be September 8, 2017. As it becomes available, information will be shared regarding a farewell gathering to celebrate Lauren’s tenure and to thank her for her dedication and efforts over the years. In the meantime, please join me in wishing Lauren the very best of luck and the greatest of success in all her future endeavors.

I am pleased to also announce that Gregory Bouquot, Associate Registrar, has agreed to serve as University Registrar until a search is conducted and the appointment of a permanent replacement is made. Greg has 15 years of service at UConn and we are grateful that he has agreed to step in during the transition.
