Dr. Joseph J. Comprone, UConn professor emeritus of English, passed away in Louisville, KY, on May 1, 2017. Dr. Comprone served as Associate Vice Provost at the Avery Point campus from 2002 to 2010, and taught English at Avery Point and then at Hartford until 2014.
