  • 2017 - 2018 Health Care Open Enrollment

    The 2017 - 2018 Health Care Open Enrollment for state employees will begin on Monday, May 8, 2017 and end on Friday, June 2, 2017. 

    During open enrollment, you may change medical and/or dental plans, add or drop coverage for your eligible family members, or enroll yourself if you previously waived coverage. You may also enroll in the Health Enhancement Program (HEP), if you have not done so already. Changes made during the open enrollment will be effective July 1, 2017.

    As a result of the Core-CT/HCM project and in collaboration with the Office of the State Comptroller, the Department of Human Resources is piloting a new on-line self-service functionality, eBenefits for Open Enrollment.  If you would like to participate in using the new eBenefits On-Line Open Enrollment to make changes to your current health care plan, please join us at the HCM Support Labs in the Wilbur Cross Training Rooms on: 

    05/30/2017 or 06/01/2017 from 10:00 am to 12 Noon

    Due to limited state resources during this period, the Office of the State Comptroller will not be scheduling agency open enrollment fairs. Information, including the Health Care Options Planner for active employees, may be found at http://www.osc.ct.gov/benefits/openenroll.htm.

    Employees who wish to make changes to the benefit plans during open enrollment may contact Human Resources at benefits@uconn.edu to request a personalized enrollment form or to receive instructions on how to access open enrollment via eBenefits Open Enrollment via self-service in Core-CT.
