  • 5/15 Philips Intellispace Perinatal Rev J Upgrade

    The Date and Time of the Upgrade:    

    Monday, 05/15/2017 8:00AM - 4:00 PM

    Services That Will Be Affected:   

    1. During the upgrade, the Philips Intellispace Perinatal (ISP, renamed from OBTV) Fetal Monitor application will not be available.

    2. The impacted areas are Labor & Delivery and OB. Please follow the down time procedures until the go-live is announced.

    3. Remote access via Citrix to the application will not be available during this downtime.

    What Will Be Done:  

    1. New servers with the application version Rev J will be installed.

    2. Philips will migrate the archived fetal monitor tracing data from the current Rev G servers to the Rev J servers.  

    3. The desktop support team will replace the clients connected to the application.

     If Everything Goes as Planned:   

    The users will be able to access Philips IntelliSpace Perinatal Rev J after the upgrade is completed. Both Philips and the UConn Health teams will do everything they can to limit the actual amount of downtime needed.  As soon as the upgrade is completed, the project team will be in contact with our Help Desk and also send out an email notification to the Clinical System Shutdown Notification distribution list 

    What You Need To Do:  

    Please notify your staff of this outage and refer to downtime procedures during the downtime. 

    OB/L&D leads should review downtime procedures with staff and be sure they are familiar with them.
