UConn Blooms is again offering the Bartlett Geraniums at $4.99 earch. Recognized by growers in the Northeast as the best plants available, our crop is ready to sell. Grown from cuttings and not seed, these plants are lush and beautiful! We have 8 different colors to choose from ranging from two shades of red and 3 shades of pink. The weather is finally turning warmer and annual planting can start.
Our petunias, impatiens, treasure flowers, african daisies, and dusty miller are very nice! We also have a good selection of herbs, with sage, mint, rosemary and oregano being our most plentiful. And our favorite tomato plants are back. Beefsteak, Cherokee Purple, and San Marzano were all standouts last year and sure to please the small gardener this year.
UConn Blooms is open Monday through Friday 10:30 to 5:00. Located in the Floriculture building across from the yellow barn on Route 195 (Storrs Road) with parking available in our driveway alongside our greenhouse.
