UConn Symphony Orchestra: Star Crossed Lovers
UConn’s Symphony Orchestra will be performing their own Star Crossed Lovers on Thursday, April 27 at the von der Mehden Recital Hall. The performance will begin at 8:00 pm. Encompassing a vast spectrum of musical influences, those in attendance will be treated to a skillfully performed barrage of instantly recognizable classic pieces. From Tchaikovsky’s unique interpretation of Romeo and Juliet, to Bernstein’s rendering of West Side Story, and everything in between, this concert will skillfully elicit audience emotion and utter captivation.
Tickets can be purchased online at vdm.ticketleap.com. General admission is $10 and free for children and students. UConn’s von der Mehden Recital Hall is located at 875 Coventry Rd in Storrs, across from Mirror Lake. Plenty of free, well-lit parking is available just across the street.
