Physical Chemistry courses for undergraduates will be offered this summer, online. Currently, UConn is the only university in the world offering these courses toward a degree. Physical Chemistry 1 (Thermodynamcis) is being offered during the Summer alternate session I and PHysical Chemistry 2 (Quantum Mechanics and Kinetics) is being offered during Summer Alternate Session II. Both courses are required for all Chemistry Majors while Thermodynamics is required for Chemical Engineering majors. These courses are being offered during the summer online so that students could graduate in time or take the courses while working their summer jobs. Both courses together consist of more than 250 HD video lectures complete with problem sessions, discussions, quizzes and exams, all of which will be run online.
