UConn’s Symphonic Band Ensemble
UConn’s own Symphonic Band Ensemble will be performing at the von der Mehden Recital Hall at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 25. The concert will demonstrate the band’s irrefutable flair, stemming from the immense diversity of its talented musicians. This particular ensemble relies on auditions to assure commendable stage performance and competent musicianship, a talent easily verified by the gifted musicians’ knack for displaying expansive skillsets and employing various musical styles; these range from modernly recognizable wind and percussive musical works to long-celebrated adaptations, sure to fancy those with an appreciation for historical musical expertise.

UConn’s von der Mehden Recital Hall is located at 875 Coventry Rd in Storrs, straight across from Mirror Lake. Plenty of free, well-lit parking is available just across the street.
