UConn’s Student Composers Song Recital
The UConn Department of Music will proudly present a performance of the Student Composers Song Recital on Sunday, April 23, beginning at 8:00 pm. It will take place at UConn’s own von der Mehden Recital Hall. The concert employs original pieces from four accomplished UConn composers, performed by talented UConn graduate students majoring in Vocal Studies. Alongside the professional direction of the experienced and accomplished Dr. Kenneth Fuchs and Rod Nelman, this recital will also employ a variety of vocal styles and music genres, ensuring a fresh and exciting experience is had by all.
Admission is free for all. UConn’s von der Mehden Recital Hall is located at 875 Coventry Rd in Storrs, which is situated across from Mirror Lake. Plenty of free, well-lit parking is available just across the street.
