Elementary German I and II (GERM 1131 + GERM 1132)
Learn a new language, and fulfill your language requirement - sign up for Elementary German I + II this summer! These two classes combine asynchronous online learning and synchronous online meetings in a virtual classroom. By the end of the summer, you will be able to
- Engage in short German conversations in a limited variety of contexts in speaking and writing.
- Negotiate simple intercultural encounters with speakers of German.
Interpret simple German text and media.
Reflect on your own and the target culture.
Recognize the basics of global engagements through language and culture.
Elementary German I will be offered May 30 - July 7
Elementary German II will be offered July 10 - August 18
