  • 4/3 Present at the STEM Expo

Do you have a cool new STEM experiment that is ready for its debut? Have you already performed research on a topic and would like to sharpen your presentation skills to a high school audience? Do you like free food and the opportunity to win Amazon gift cards? If so, the STEM Expo hosted by the STEM Scholars and Honors in STEM is for you!

What: The STEM Expo, an opportunity to present your project to a high school audience in a fair-like setting

When: Monday, April 3rd from 4:00-6:00pm

    Where: NextGen Forum

The idea is simple: participants (working as individuals or in groups) will prepare a brief, interactive presentation suitable for a high school audience, and present it to students from local high schools as they circulate around the room. The students will then vote on which projects were their favorites, and the winners will receive Amazon gift cards!

This is a great opportunity for you or your organization to promote a topic of interest to a new audience and to generate excitement about STEM at UConn. The deadline to register is next Friday, March 31st, and the link to register can be found here. If you have any questions, please do not hesistate to email us at stemscholars.uconn@edu.
