UConn Opera presents: Le Nozze di Figaro

The UConn Opera will be performing Mozart’s rendition of the controversial opera, Le Nozze di Figaro, at 7:30 pm on Friday, March 24, and again at 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 26. Both performances will take place at UConn’s von der Mehden Recital Hall. The show not only provides an eclectic variety of musical compositions, but also tells an engrossing story of conspiring in the name of love and deceit. The esteemed bass-baritone Anthony Leathem will assume the role of the titular character and serve as a driving force of the opera, alongside the talents of countless other honorable musicians and actors from undergraduate and graduate studies alike.

Admission prices are: general/$20; senior/$15; student/$5. Tickets can be purchased online at jorgensen.uconn.edu; additional information can also be accessed via this link, or by email at operaguild.uconn.edu.
