Please join UConn Transportation Services TODAY (Thursday) for a first-hand look inside one of the 10 new buses, which hit the road starting that morning.
The new vehicles have USB ports, LED lighting, bike racks, more comfortable seats, and a “kneeling” function to lower the bus and make it easier for passengers to get on and off. They’ll also each have on-board wifi service starting next year.
Representatives from UConn Transportation Services and others will be on Fairfield Way near Hillside Road from about 10 a.m. to noon today to answer questions, listen to your ideas, and show off the buses.
