The Eversource Energy Center at the University of Connecticut is offering an interdisciplinary Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program focused on Power Grid Resilience to Severe Storms in a Changing Environment.
Program Highlights:
- Work directly with a faculty mentor to develop an independent research project
- Conduct cutting-edge research and present it to the Center community (UConn faculty, staff, and students & Eversource staff)
- Participate in an immersive, collaborative experience with other research fellows, Center faculty, and graduate students
- Receive a stipend of $4,000, travel support and free room and board on the scenic UConn campus
Timing: 8 week program - May 22 - July 14, 2017
Application Deadline: April 15, 2017
Who?: Open to upper level (rising Junior or Senior) undergraduate students from any College or University
