  • Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowships

    The Eversource Energy Center at the University of Connecticut is offering an interdisciplinary Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program focused on Power Grid Resilience to Severe Storms in a Changing Environment.

    Program Highlights:

    • Work directly with a faculty mentor to develop an independent research project
    • Conduct cutting-edge research and present it to the Center community (UConn faculty, staff, and students & Eversource staff)
    • Participate in an immersive, collaborative experience with other research fellows, Center faculty, and graduate students
    • Receive a stipend of $4,000, travel support and free room and board on the scenic UConn campus

    Timing: 8 week program - May 22 - July 14, 2017

    Application Deadline: April 15, 2017

    Who?: Open to upper level (rising Junior or Senior) undergraduate students from any College or University
