  • Spring Mid-Semester Grade Rosters Now Available

In 2003 our University Senate approved a mid-semester grading process to help our students better understand and monitor their academic progress in all classes.  This senate-approved system enables instructors in all courses to enter midterm grades, but requires 1000- and 2000-level courses to record grades of C- or below into the Student Administration system. The goal is to ensure that students understand their academic progress so they can seek appropriate support or potentially withdraw from the class.

These grades are not part of the permanent record, as they are designed to help students.  The Registrar will alert the students, their advisors, and others, as appropriate of the mid-semester grades that faculty have submitted.

Please take the time to indicate in Student Admin any students who are earning any grades below C, including N grades. Mid-semester rosters will be available from Monday, February 20, 2017 through Friday, March 10, 2017.  A reminder about how to enter mid-semester grades is available here: http://studentadmin.uconn.edu/help/instructors-and-advisors/record-mid-term-grades/

If you have questions about grading or technological issues, please call the Registrar’s Office at 860-486-3331 or email at Registrar@uconn.edu for assistance.

Thank you so much for your assistance in communicating to students their academic performance in your course(s).
