The CT Horse Symposium will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 and Sunday March 5, 2017 at the Horsebarn Hill Arena at the Storrs campus.
On Saturday, the Caroline Mercier Clinic focusing on Flat Work, Poles and Jumps will run from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. The Susan Bartfay Clinc on Communication with your Horse or Other Animal Friend will occur from 1:00 p.m. -4:00 p.m. The Jeff Morse Clinic on Improving Your Driving will take place also from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.Vendor and Camp Fairs begin at 8:30 a.m. and take place all day in the Horsebarn Hill Arena. At 12:00 there will be a demonstration done by the UConn Morgan Horse Drill Team.
On Sunday from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. there will be a Hands On Horse Science Day. At 12 p.m. there will be a UConn Dressage Team Demonstration. At 1p.m. there will be a UConn Men’s Polo Team Match vs. the Skidmore Men.
Discounted Fee of $10 a day for current UConn students. Experienced riders can use a UConn horse for an extra fee
