Research, Funding, and Awards

  • By 3/28 UCHC Needs Your Help Today

At the Health Center, we are always striving to meet patients’ needs more effectively—not only by providing the best medical care, but also by providing supportive services and resources. As you may be aware, the Health Center recently introduced a new Palliative Medicine Program aimed at providing an extra layer of support for our patients who are facing life-threatening illnesses and their families.

Today, you can help us advance this program. We have applied for funding from the LIVESTRONG Foundation and we are competing in an online voting process that will determine the winner of the grant. If we receive the most votes within our region, we will be awarded training, funds and educational materials from the Center to Advance Palliative Care which is an honor we would be proud to bring to the Health Center.

Cast your vote to bring the Advanced Certification Program for Palliative Care to the Health Center by clicking the "VOTE NOW" button. Spread the word by asking your friends and family to vote as well by sharing the following link: www.vote.livestrong.org

Please vote today through March 28 to show the support our community has for providing expert palliative care to our patients and their families. Remember you can vote every day! Thank you so much for your continued support.
