  • Internship and Co-op Week

    Internship & Co-op Week will be taking place from January 30th – February 3rd. Each day will feature programming targeted at helping our students find, apply, and prepare for internship and co-op opportunities. 

    PREPARE FOR THE FAIR
    INTERNSHIP SHOWCASE & BOOTCAMP
    Wilbur Cross, South Reading Room, 5-6pm (Snow Date: February 6)

    New to internships? Nervous about the Internship & Co-op Fair? Not sure where to start? Come learn from fellow UConn students who have interned across the country! Represented internship sites include the Connecticut Sun WNBA team, GE Energy Connections, Deloitte Consulting, Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Hillary for America, and Wildlife Conservation Society – and more! Employers will also be on hand featuring short 15 minute panels to help you prepare for the fair.

    Tuesday, January 31
    CAREER-READY CONSIGNMENT WITH BLISS
    Bliss Boutique in Storrs Center, 6-8pm

    Never think “I have nothing to wear” again! Four teams of 2-3 students will be selected to create internship-ready outfits at Bliss Boutique, located in Storrs Center. The team with the best outfit will receive a gift card to Bliss!

    Wednesday, February 1
    INTERNSHIP & CO-OP FAIR
    Student Union Third Floor, 11am - 3pm (Snow Date: February 8)

    Ready to find your next internship or Co-op? Employers will be on campus looking to meet students from a wide range of majors with a variety of experience. For a full list of employers attending the fair, download the UConn Career Fair Plus app.

    You’ve gone to the Internship & Co-op Fair and chatted with recruiters – now what?! Stop by anytime between 2pm and 4pm for help with follow-up emails, LinkedIn messages, and more!

    Friday, February 3
    COOKIES, COVER LETTERS, & CAREER COUNSELING
    Wilbur Cross Building room 202, 12-4pm

    The week is nearly do,ne – but your internship & co-op search has just begun. Stop by the CCD, grab a cookie, and chat with a CCD staff member about cover letters, how to find opportunities, and where to go from here!
