  • Important Dates for Undergraduates - Spring 2017

    From the University Registrar

    Welcome, Students!

Important dates for undergraduate students during the Spring 2017 semester can be found here: http://registrar.uconn.edu/academic-calendar/spring-2017/.

The Office of the Registrar would like to draw your attention to a few important deadlines:

    Monday, January 30

    • Add/Drop via the Student Administration System closes, after this date it must be done in person in the Office of the Registrar
    • Courses dropped after this date will have a "W" for withdrawal recorded on the academic record
    • Last day to add courses or drop courses without additional signatures and last day to place courses on Pass/Fail
    • Reminder to Financial Aid Applicants: Individual financial aid awards and/or university scholarships for the semester will be based on the number of credits hours for which students are enrolled on this date (January 30, 2017).  Students who do not have their enrollment finalized by this date will be notified by the Office of Student Financial Aid Services (OSFAS) that if their semester registration was finalized AFTER the tenth day of classes, students may submit an appeal to request reinstatement of their financial aid package (on a funds available basis).  Appeals must be received by OSFAS no later than February 14th to avoid further adjustments to their financial aid award

    Friday, February 10

    • Deadline for students to apply for graduation and submit plans of study for May graduation

    Monday, March 27

    • Last day to withdraw from a course with your advisor’s consent or to convert courses from the Pass/Fail option to letter grade
