  • Call For Nominations: Graduate Internal Fellowship

    Giolas-Harriott Fellowship & Crandall-Cordero Fellowship

The Graduate School is pleased to announce the Vice Provost for Graduate Education: Giolas – Harriott Fellowship (GHF) and the Crandall – Cordero Fellowship (CCF) competition for the 2017-2018 academic year.

The primary goal of the GHF and CCF Fellowship is to recruit and enhance the most academically qualified and promising students entering UConn graduate programs. Additionally, it is expected that all nominees demonstrate a commitment to enhancing diversity in higher education and/or a commitment to enhancing diversity in their field of study.

    Fellowship Eligibility Requirements

The GHF/CCF is intended as a recruiting award to help UConn attract promising students entering masters and doctoral programs. Thus, current UConn students applying for admission to a program generally receive lower priority than students receiving their degree from other institutions. Also, all nominees must be an Untied States Citizen or a Permeant Resident to be eligible for CCF or GHF.

Giolas-Harriott Fellowship (GHF) accepts only incoming doctoral nominees. Crandall-Cordero Fellowship (CCF) accepts BOTH masters and doctoral nominees. For a breakdown of each fellowship please click here.
