Learn to make your own holiday centerpiece at UConn Blooms on Monday Dec 19th. Jim Palmieri, the floral arts instructor, will guide you in making a holiday arrangement for your table or as a gift to bring to a party or reception. These one candle centerpieces will last for two to three weeks and decorate a room through New Year's Eve. This is a great thing to do with your fellow workers.
The instruction in basic floral design will a take about an hour and a half, from 5:30 to 7:00 in the Floriculture building at 1395 Storrs Road across from the yellow barn. A $30.00 fee will get you the container, greens, flowers and the pride of making a beautiful creation. Parking is available in the back of our building or alongside our greenhouse in the driveway.
