  • 4/7 CFP: UConn Conference on the Teaching of Writing

    Dear colleagues,

The University of Connecticut’s First-Year Writing Program will host its Twelfth Annual Conference on the Teaching of Writing on Friday, April 7, 2017. Our theme for this year is “Humility and Conviction,” and we’re honored to have John Duffy as our keynote speaker.

We’ve attached a copy of our call for papers and hope you’ll consider submitting a proposal. We would appreciate it if you could also distribute the CFP among your colleagues. We welcome proposals from instructors, tutors, and students that address issues pertinent to writing instruction in all disciplines and programs. The deadline for proposals is Sunday, January 15. You can also find regularly updated information about this year’s conference on our website at http://fyw.uconn.edu/conference/.

    Best,
