  • Rich Miller Elected Vice Chair of AASHE

    Rich Miller, Director of Environmental Policy, which includes UConn’s Sustainability Office, has been elected Vice Chair/Chair-Elect of the 2017 Board of Directors of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). Rich has been a member of the association’s Board of Directors since 2014.

    AASHE is the leading voice for sustainability in higher education and represents more than 800 member colleges and universities throughout North America.  The association works with and for higher education to ensure that future leaders are motivated and equipped to solve sustainability challenges, like climate change, ecological health, social justice and a better world for all generations.  UConn is consistently ranked among the top 10 campus sustainability leaders, both nationally and globally.
