Connecticut Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CCEI) is sponsoring time for UConn students and faculty to meet with its Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR), Mario Leite this semester (at no cost).
Mario Leite, Class of ’98 (CLAS), and President/Founder of Tea-rrific! Ice Cream, is currently available to meet with entrepreneurs. He will be holding virtual hours for the month of October on Tuesdays from 10am – 1pm and on Thursdays from 12pm-2pm, and on Fridays from 10am – 12pm in-person (by appointment) at CCEI, 222 Pitkin Street, East Hartford. Walk-ins also available on Fridays between 10am and 12pm.
Mario’s fields of expertise include:
- Identifying target markets
- Product development
- Raising capital
- Developing revenue models and financial projections
He is currently in the process of growing his business through export to foreign markets and is also gaining experience in scaling up production. He is passionate about helping UConn students and faculty find ways to bring their big ideas to life.
