Interested in volunteering this spring break?! Join us on Monday, Oct 24th at 8pm in LH 106 to learn about how you can get involved with alternative break trips to Oak Hill, West Virginia or a mystery location.
Mystery Trip, Environmental Conservation: students will be working with a focus on environmental restoration, protection, and maintenance and understand the intersectionality of environmental concerns with other social issues. The focus is geared toward the purpose rather than the destination.
Oak Hill, WV, Rural Poverty: students will assist in projects such as home repairs and trail maintenance near mountaintop removal sites. Participants will also get the opportunity to connect with their team, meet community members and learn about rural poverty and environmental challenges in the area.
