Introductory course, Literature and Civilization of the Jewish People, is being offered for honors credit and fulfills CA1 and CA4. Biblical and modern Hebrew language courses are also available.

This unique course takes the student from Biblical Israel to the diverse, contemporary world of Jewish civilization in just one semester. The course opens with a review of the major themes of the "Torah" and then proceeds to examine the ways in which these ideas shaped Jewish civilization.
