Robin Brewer and Nancy Lisee from Senior Resources, Agency on Aging will provide employees with information you might want to know for your elder family member or friend regarding all parts of "Medicare Basics" as well as provide information on what to do when you turn 65 and need to sign up.
Other information will include respite programs and kinship grants available to grandparents raising grandchildren.
This Eldercare Support group meets the 2nd Thursday of every month. November's topic will be "What to Look For When You Are Visiting Your Elder".If you want to be added to the Eldercare distribution list, please email pamela.heath-johnston@uconn.edu.
