Come work with Community Outreach and join an incredible group of people during this years winter break (January 7th—15th, 2017)
This weeklong relief trip will focus on urban poverty and civil rights in the city of Birmingham, Alabama. We will be serving the local community in various areas of need. Participants will explore the roots of urban poverty, and how it affects community members of many different backgrounds. This will in turn help students explore their identities and roles as community members here at UConn.
The application deadline for all UConn students is September 28th, 2016.
