Come out and join UConn Hillel for our 6th annual Hummus Experience event Wednesday, September 28th!
The Hummus Experience is a Top Chef style cook off to make the best flavor of hummus you and your team of three or four can prepare on this night. Hummus and ingredients will be provided. Five judges will try all of your creations, and the winning team will receive a FREE YEAR SUPPLY OF CEDAR'S HUMMUS!!!
The ingredients are a mystery...each team will get 15 minutes to observe the ingredients upon arriving to the event to plan out what they want to make for their flavor. Everything will be provided for the preparation of the hummus. (knives, spoons, whisks, etc.)
If you aren't on a team, there is still plenty to do! We will have many carnival style games and raffles with prizes. All spectators will also taste the different hummus flavors created and vote on their favorites.
Teams arrive at 6:45. Cooking starts at 7:00.
$5 registration per team at the door
