    UConn in London/Business and Econ in London Info Session

    Two unique programs, One great city.

    UConn in London offers students the chance to engage with critical global issues both inside and outside the classroom. The program makes the most of being located in the heart of London for expanding your understanding of global problems. Students have the option of enrolling in a 3-credit internship and will earn up to 15 UConn credits in total. Course options span disciplines including COMM, POLS, ARTH, HIST, PSYC and more.

    UConn Business and Economics in London offers Business and Economics majors the chance to work in one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world, get a semester’s worth of academic credit and to engage with critical global issues both inside and outside the classroom. Students have the opportunity to participate in 7 weeks of coursework and 7 weeks of a full time internship. Students will be able to choose from a wide variety of placements at well-known companies in many industry sectors, as well as with smaller innovative companies.

    Study in Asia Info Session

    Come learn more about exciting study abroad opportunities in Asia! UConn Education Abroad offers many exchanges in places like Singapore, China, Japan, and South Korea. The best part? UConn students pay UConn tuition to participate in these exchange programs! Students earn 12-18 graded UConn credits on exchange programs and many locations also offer the opportunity to obtain Honors credit.

    UConn in Granada Info Session

    On this extraordinary year or semester-long UConn faculty-led program you will earn 12-15 UConn credits that count towards Spanish major, minor, and/or gen ed requirements. This program will take you into the heart of Granada and immerse you in its culture, language and landscape. Together with a UConn faculty member and your fellow students, you will take courses at the Centro de Lenguas Modernas, which is part of the University of Granada. Located only minutes from the historic city center, the “Centro” offers students from around the world the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Spanish language and culture. All the courses are taught in Spanish but are adapted to suit the needs of UConn students. The class experience is designed to make effective use of Granada and its cultural institutions.

    UConn PreMed/Allied Health in Granada, Spain Info Session

    This program is designed for students enrolled in the Pre-Med or Allied-Health major track and the Spanish Studies major. This program will allow students to immerse themselves in the Spanish language and culture during six months while taking several classes at the Modern Language Center of the University of Granada and completing a 240-hour internship at the Hospital de La Inmaculada in Granada under the supervision of Spanish physicians. The classes will be mostly related to Spanish language, culture, and arts with a course on the Spanish HealthCare System taught by a physician at the Hospital de la Inmaculada.

    Info Session: Study Business and Spanish in Madrid

    Designed for students enrolled in a Business major track and the Spanish Studies major, this program will allow students to immerse themselves in the Spanish language and culture during six months while taking several classes at the University CEU San Pablo in Madrid, and completing a 300-hour internship at a company in the Madrid metropolitan area. The classes will be related to Spanish language, culture, and arts with two business courses taught in Spanish. Students need a working knowledge of Spanish and must have taken at least three years of high school Spanish or two years of college-level Spanish or its equivalent.

    Students will take three upper-division courses in Spanish Studies (advanced grammar, culture, literature, film) and two upper-division business courses (Business Ethics and European Financial Markets). All classes will be conducted in Spanish.

    UConn Neuroscience in Salamanca Info Session

    UConn Neuroscience in Salamanca, Spain will introduce students to Neuroscience at an international level. Sponsored by the Honors Program and the Department of Neuroscience, this five week program will be taught by a team of international http://scientists.This program is open to both graduate, post-graduate, and undergraduate students from any University or College. Students enroll in one Neuroscience course and one Spanish class to earn 6 credits.
