Do you want to become more involved? Interested in participating in a weeklong service and advocacy oriented trip focused on gender and sexual identity? If so, apply to the Community Outreach Gender & Sexual Identity Alternative Break! This trip provides the perfect opportunity to become more educated on the historical and current struggles faced by the LGBTQ+ community through active service and participation in advocacy work. We will head to New York City during Spring Break (March 11-19, 2017) and serve with organizations that support and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, then head back to campus to volunteer and facilitate discussions at the True Colors Conference.
