Please be advised that Auditorium and Glenbrook Roads will be closed starting Monday 6/27/2016 until Friday 07/01/16 during the time frames outlined below.
Auditorium Road – closed 6 AM until 4:30 PM each day. After 4:30 PM, the roadway under construction will have steel plates placed over the excavation and the road re-opened until the following morning when it will be re-closed at 6 AM each day.
Glenbrook Road – closed from 2:30 PM until 11 PM each day. After 11 PM, the roadway under construction will have steel plates placed over the excavation and the road re-opened until the following afternoon when it will be re-closed at 2:30 PM each day.
Pedestrian access around these road closures will for the most part, be maintained and we ask you to please read and follow the detour signage in order to ensure your safe passage around these work areas.
UCONN Security will have police details at North Eagleville Road and Auditorium Road intersection and at Glenbrook Road intersections with North Eagleville and Hillside roads to enforce the detours and provide motorists with assistance in navigating the posted detours.
These Road closures are required in order for the ESCO project to excavate the roadways and install new steam piping across Auditorium and Glenbrook Roads and thanks you for your patience and understanding for these road closures.
