The William Benton Museum of Art invites you to read the following excerpts from two recent stories about our newest exhibition, BLOW UP: INFLATABLE CONTEMPORARY ART...and then come see the fun exhibition in person.
Story #1. [The movable, lightweight sculptures] "conjure up for us these tangible connections to childhood and our memories, whether it’s pummeling that Bozo punching bag or sledding on a tire inner tube. There’s an accessibility and a sense of fun and humor to the exhibition."
Excerpted from Kenneth Best's story for UConn Today, June 21, 2016.

Story #2. Susan Dunne's Hartford Courant story begins, "What's the difference between a huge Macy's parade-style character balloon and a piece of large-scale inflatable art? It's the hidden meanings."
