    Statistical Consulting Services (SCS) Workshops

     

    SCS is pleased to announce the launch of a set of three introductory workshops! Topics to be covered include:

    • Survey Design
    • Interrater Reliability
    • Power Analysis (difference of means, proportions, correlation coefficients)
    • Repeated Measures (data structures, pre/post testing, linear mixed models)

    You will get a thorough overview of each topic and a hands on, live demonstration of various case studies! All disciplines and statistical backgrounds are welcome to attend these free workshops presented by SCS.

    When: Wednesday, May 11, 2016

    Session 1: Survey Design (9:30AM – 11:30AM)

    Session 2: Power Analysis and Sample Size Calculation (1:00PM – 3:00PM)

    Session 3: Repeated Measures Analysis (3:30PM – 5:30PM)

    Who: Any UConn or UCHC faculty, students, or affiliated persons can attend.

    Lunch will be served in AUST 326 and is free to all participants. Sign up for any number of sessions (1, 2, or all 3). Registration will be closed whenever the cap number (40 for each session) is reached or by May 5, 2016.
